RaShonne: On January 27, 2017, I decided to take a birthday trip across the country to visit one of my friends of 23 years. Having never been to California, and knowing he would make sure I had a great time, I was looking forward to experiencing the West Coast. Just like I expected, he had a ton of fun activities planned, and the conversation and laughs flowed effortlessly. We ended the night at a club. We danced to a variety of club classics, like "No Hands" and "Get Busy", and when we got into our Uber at the end of the night, he turned to me, and said -  Donald: You can't dance with me like that and expect us to continue to just be friends. Even so, we got home and went straight to sleep. The next day, I took her to breakfast at a vegan restaurant (I should have known then that I was falling for her, since I'm by no means a vegan), and then we took a walk around Balboa Park. We watched some street performers, and I put my arm around her, and it just felt natural. We both knew then that it was more than just friendship.
